Triedenie liekov
rezistentný druh je úplne odolný na lokálnu liečbu (krémy) a jedine liečba, ktorá je ešte účinná je liečba Intraconazolom. (napr. Sporanox). Sľubne výsledky sa dosiahli liečbou s Itraconazol, ale je nutné brať ho neprerušovane 3 mesiace po 200 mg/deň. Liečiť sa ma do úplného vymiznutia príznakov inak dôjde k relapse (recidíve choroby)
